Emeline Sawyer
1) Character Name: Emeline Sawyer Not too long ago, when Buffy activated the potential slayers of the world, Emeline felt a strange power emerge from within her. She felt stronger, like she could take care of herself in any situation. She felt empowered… and a little scared at the same time. This newfound power could not have come at a better time, as she had just turned 18 and was sent out to live on her own in the world. One week ago, while trying to get a job in 9) Personality: Emeline is shy and quiet around people she doesn't know. She only really says the basics, whatever needs to be said. However, once she is more comfortable around people, she will open up. Her wry sense of humor will even peek its head out. When fights break out, Emeline is very focused. Unlike many of those in the Buffy world, she doesn't wisecrack as often, but rather keeps on task. Maybe when she is more comfortable in her role as a fighter, she will lighten up.
Misc. Stuff Despite, the many hours of thinking, she couldn't comprehend the situation she was in. Hell, she had barely understood who she was before. If she added up all of the parts of her past, the sum wasn't that great. An orphaned kid who went from foster home to foster home, who was now homeless and jobless and literally chasing dreams... Sounded like failure to her. But to be told she was supposed to be some great fighter, some great protector of the common man from things that go bump in the night? It was like her life was a cosmic joke. She had thought once she was 18, once she was able to take charge of her own life, things would be normal. She would go to college while struggling to pay the rent. She would get a mediocre job that would eventually turn into something great. She would get married and have kids. ...How realistic was any of that now? Something jerked Emeline out of her thoughts. All the little hairs on the back of her neck stood on end. Her skin tingled, hummed so loudly that she was forced to stop in her tracks. She slowly turned around, deeply breathing in the air. What the hell was going on? As much as Emeline wanted to ignore the feeling, she couldn't. Something was coming. And she had no time to run, probably couldn't if she wanted to. Something was coming.... |
